<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sebum-absorbing paper containing thermostable microcapsules. <P>SOLUTION: This sebum-absorbing paper contains, on at least one surface of the paper or more preferably on only one surface of the paper, microcapsules which include at least one crystalline compound having an enthalpy of melting (ΔHf) of 75-330 kJ/kg measured with a differential scanning calorimeter. This invention is further directed toward a manufacturing method for the sebum- absorbing paper and also a use of the sebum-absorbing paper to contribute to a long-acting refreshing effect on the skin. In order to give the refreshing effect on the skin, the melting temperature of the crystalline compound encapsulated within the microcapsules has to be slightly lower than the temperature of the human skin. The crystalline compound is preferably manufactured from an encapsulated compound having a melting temperature at approximately 25-40°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
