COMPOSITE HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE REINFORCED WITH WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite hollow fiber membrane excellent in mechanical strength, filtration reliability, and water permeability.

SOLUTION: This composite hollow fiber membrane is composed of a reinforcing material of a tubular woven fabric and a polymer resin thin film for coating the surface of the reinforcing material and the polymer resin thin film is composed of a skin layer having fine pores with a pore diameter of 0.01-1μm and an inner layer with a sponge structure having fine pores with a pore diameter of 10μm or smaller. The composite hollow fiber membrane comprises the coating of the polymer resin thin film which is composed of the skin layer with a dense structure and the inner layer with the sponge structure having graded fine pores with the pore diameter of 10μm or smaller and which is formed on the woven fabric as the reinforcing material.
