<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rising of light emission of a light emitting display panel or the follow-up ability of luminance while lighting of the panel is started or light emission luminance of the panel that is being driven for the lighting is increased. <P>SOLUTION: Light emitting elements arranged on a light emitting display panel 1 are constant current driven and their forward voltages VF are obtained by a sampling hold circuit 8. An output voltage VH of a driving voltage source 6 is controlled by the voltages VF obtained by the circuit 8. For example, when lighting of the panel 1 is started or light emission luminance is rising, control signals are transmitted to a voltage forced changing circuit 9 from a light emission control circuit 4 and a command is transmitted from the circuit 9 to a PWM circuit 15 of the source 6 which consists of a DC-DC converter, to increase the voltage VH. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
