<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling process for renewing fusible waste of polycondensation resin with high energy efficiency by means of a melt polymerizer. <P>SOLUTION: In the recycling process for polycondensation resin, waste polycondensation resin is charged in a melt polymerization apparatus and the polycondensation reaction is allowed to proceed. When the polycondensation resin is produced in a continuous melt polymerization apparatus equipped with a plurality of (sequentially) connected polymerization tanks, waste polycondensation resin is fed to arbitrary sites in the polymerization apparatus to effect the transesterification and/or polycondensation between the resin produced in the polymerization tanks and the waste resin fed. When the polycondensation resin is produced in a continuous melt polymerization apparatus equipped with a plurality of (sequentially) connected polymerization tanks, the waste resin is fed to the outlet side of a preceding polycondensation tank (the oligomerization step) and the transesterification and the polycondensation between the waste resin and the new resin produced in the polymerization tanks are carried out in the following polycondensation tanks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
