摘要 PURPOSE: A method for combining a three-dimensional foreground with a two-dimensional background, and a three-dimensional application engine are provided to reduce the amount of source data and smoothly run three-dimensional objects reproduced between different key positions. CONSTITUTION: A source objects set is formed of three-dimensional environment objects generated by using a three-dimensional studio max. All objects are transformed into an internal proprietorship format by using an export plug-in. The export plug-in forms an internal object representation in an engine kernel used for visualizing the objects. The internal object representation is a polygonal mesh corresponding to a surface of a three-dimensional application object having the corresponding texture. The internal object representation is linked with internal object controllers and external object controllers. An aspectogram generation toolkit temporarily processes objects displayed as three-dimensional images to obtain an aspectogram bitmap set forming an aspectogram database. An internal game object set is used for forming a 'live' application scene, which is input information to a rendering module. To visualize the objects represented as a two-dimensional background, a rendering process is used. The rendering process maps the polygonal mesh corresponding to the surface of a rendered object as texture of the object. In the case of the object as a three-dimensional image, the polygonal mesh is replaced by a simple rectangle.
