The device includes a tube (5) forming the body of the device having a toroidal joint (8) on its top part that comes into contact with a sphere (1). A joint (4) with a cylindrical form is formed inside the tube that can be pressed over the neck of a bottle. The sphere and the tube are connected together by a spring (7) fixed to upper and lower brackets (9,6) on the sphere and tube respectively. The springs maintain the sphere pressed against the toroidal joint for sealing purposes. Lateral pressure on the sphere by a user opens the bottle and vertical pressure on the sphere closes the bottle.
