摘要 PURPOSE: A fulvene-based intermediate, a fulvene-based compound and its preparation method using the intermediate are provided, to obtain a fulvene-based compound which has a substituent at 2- and 5-positions and is useful as an intermediate for the synthesis of natural products or medical materials and a starting material for the synthesis of a metallocene catalyst having a cyclopentadienyl group. CONSTITUTION: The fulvene-based intermediate is represented by the formula 2 and the fulvene-based compound is represented by the formula 1, wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently H, an alkyl, alkenyl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl group of C1-C20, an aryl group, an alkyl or aryl group of C1-C20 containing an oxygen or nitrogen atom, or a hydrocarbyl-substituted metalloid radical of group 14, and R3 and R4 can be connected by an alkylidene radical containing an alkyl or aryl radical to form a ring; and R5 is an alkyl, alkenyl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl group of C1-C20, an aryl group, an alkyl or aryl group of C1-C20 containing an oxygen or nitrogen atom, or a hydrocarbyl-substituted metalloid radical of group 14. The method comprises the step of reacting the fulvene-based intermediate of the formula 2 with an organometallic compound represented by R1-M or R1-MgX (wherein M is an alkali metal) to obtain the fulvene-based compound of the formula 1.
