VERTICAL BAG-MAKING AND PACKAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical bag-making and packaging machine which has a simplified power transmission mechanism and is easy to position a vertical sealing means and a film feed means.

SOLUTION: The vertical bag-making and packaging machine includes a first air cylinder 30 for moving a heater unit 21 between a retreated position A and a close position B; a second air cylinder 45 for moving the heater unit 21 between the close position B and a contact position C; a third air cylinder 46 capable of adjusting pushing force between the vertical sealing means 21 and a tube 6; and a pair of fourth air cylinders 55 for bringing pull-down belts 5 and 5 into contact with/farther away from the tube 6. A rod member 35 and a stopper member 36 serving as a stopping mechanism for controlling a distance between the retreated position A and the close position B are provided.
