A metal hand-held shower (10) having a water-guiding channel and a grip (11) enclosing the latter at least over part of its length, a flexible-tube connection nipple (12) and a water outlet (14) is adroitly configured such that, while dispersing with a separate grip consisting of an insulating material, unpleasant overheating or also excessive cooling of the grip (11) cannot occur. This is achieved in that the grip (11) also consists of metal, in that the water-guiding channel comprises a tube (16), in particular a copper tube, which is known per se in the case of outlet fittings, and in that this tube (16) is fastened, such that it is sealed with respect to the grip cavity (21), on the flexible-tube connection nipple (12) with one end (16a) and in the region of a wall opening (15a) of the water outlet (14) with its other end (16b). The grip cavity (21), forming an outwardly closed space, completely encloses the tube casing (16c) at a distance. Although the hand-held shower consists entirely of metal, the grip essentially maintains room temperature because the grip cavity (21), enclosing the water-guiding tube (16), is outwardly closed and forms a heat-insulating air cushion. <IMAGE> |
