PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a band plate-like connection member from contacting a document platen.SOLUTION: There is provided an image reading device U2 comprising: a movable body 11 that can move along a support base; a connection member 17 that is formed in a band plate shape and electrically connects the movable body 11 and a control part GS, the connection member 17 including a folded part 17a folded with respect to a direction of movement of the movable body 11; and a guide member 18 that is arranged along the connection member 17, the guide member 18 having a high flexural rigidity at a portion where the connection member 17 extends along the direction of movement of the movable body 11 and a low flexural rigidity at the folded part 17a of the connection member 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
