The micro sensor has a maintaining and positioning unit for positioning a pellet (10) on a gloved finger (11) of a practitioner. The pellet is made of a piezo resistant material and has dimensions smaller than the diameter of an artery whose pressure has to be measured. Electrical conductors (12) transmit an electrical signal supplied by the pellet in response to the pressure subjected to the pellet. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus of measuring an arterial rigidity using a micro sensor.
