A drive of power takeoff shaft of transport means contains a housing with fastening elements, a detachable cover relative to the housing, an idler projecting from the housing, mounted in the cover with possibility of engagement with internal gear, a shaft and a pusher. The housing through the flange of detachable cover is connected to gearbox of transport means with possibility of preliminary connection to gearbox of cover with the idler. Joint of housing and cover with the idler is executed in the plane, which passes within the limits of the line of engagement of idler and internal gears. This embodiment allows to reduce the assembly overall size of the box of power take-off.
