<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser therapy equipment, which obtains laser light for treatment and aiming light of the same color as the laser light in a simple and easy way and obtains the laser light for treatment at low loss. <P>SOLUTION: The laser therapy equipment to guide laser light onto an affected area of a patient and irradiate it, comprises a laser light source to beam laser light at a wavelength of visible light range, a light separating member set so that incident light from the laser light source is arranged at Brewster's angle to separate the light into first laser light of transmission including p-polarized light and second laser light of reflection including s-polarized light, an openable and closable shutter provided at a light path of the first laser light separated by the light separating member, a light combining member to combine again the first laser light transmitted through the shutter and the second laser light reflected by the light separating member, and an optical light guiding system to guide the laser light combined by the light combining member onto the affected area of the patient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
