PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for removing a defective strip, the apparatus for adhering a plate to the defective strip using magnetic force and rotating the defective strip adhered to the plate such that the defective strip is removed to the lower side when a defective strip is transferred on an upper part of a roller table, thereby preventing delay of working due to defective products. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing a defective strip comprises a body which is installed beside a roller table on which a strip is transferred, and on the upper surface of which a plural transfer rolls are installed so that a normal product is transferred to its destination by the transfer rolls; a rotary motor connected to one side surface of the body such that the body is rotated; rotary arms(41) rotatably installed at both sides of the body around hinges(42); rotary cylinders(40) connected to the rotary arms; and pressing cylinders(50) installed at an upper end portion of the rotary arms to press the strip toward a plate(60) embedded in the body.
