PURPOSE: A method and a system for sending TPC(Transmit Power Control) information between NMEs(Network Management Entities) in a wireless communication system are provided to transmit a much higher power level by a WLAN(Wireless LAN), and to control a transmit power to a minimum level through a TPC function, thereby guaranteeing a satisfactory signal receiving process without generating a bigger interference than other WTRU(Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit). CONSTITUTION: If a transmit power level of a WTRU is decided to be proper, the first management entity transmits the first message to the second management entity within an AP(505,510). The second management entity transmits the second message for requesting TPC information to be supplied to the AP to the WTRU(515,520). By responding to the second message, the third management entity of the WTRU performs more than one physical measurement process, and determines more than one TPC parameter(525,530). The third management entity transmits the third message including the requested TPC information and the measured results(535-545).
