<p>The procedure involves exposing group of atoms (A1, A2) to two opposite propagating laser beams formed by each of two co-propagating laser beams. The opposite laser beams and the atoms produce an interval in frequency due to a Doppler effect regulated to allow realization of Raman transition to realize interference. Speed of rotation submitted by an atomic interferometric system is detected from an internal state of the atoms. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus to measure speed of rotation of an atomic interferometric system.</p> |
