A method and apparatus for sharing services on a network. The method includes the steps of A) at a first embedded device, transmitting a message requesting at least one service, to at least one embedded device connected with the first embedded device over the network, B) at the first embedded device, receiving code information for implementing the service from the embedded device receiving the message, C) at the first embedded device, executing the code information and implementing the service, and D) at the first embedded device, registering service information on the service when implementation of the service is completed in the step C.
