<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fungus antigen effective to a disease caused by fungi, and usable as a safer biological preparation, e.g. a vaccine composition, a composition for hyposensitization therapy or a composition for diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: The fungus antigen is an antigenic protein having vaccine activities or allergen activities derived from Candida albicans, and having a specific amino acid sequence and about 65,000 molecular weight (SDS-PAGE, under reduction condition). In another embodiment, the fungus antigen is the peptide having a different specific amino acid sequence or a sequence in which at least one of deletion, addition, insertion or substitution of one to several amino acid residues is made in the amino acid sequence, and also having the vaccine activities or the allergen activities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
