A sliding-type portable terminal having a self-standing function, a sliding guide module thereof, and an apparatus for installing the same are provided to improve the convenience and speediness of cradling by providing a self-standing function and to offer the stableness of cradling by providing an inclined flat surface. A sliding-type portable terminal having a self-standing function consists of a main body(10), a sliding body, a cradling unit(40), and a sliding guide module. The sliding body comprises one or more keys and a display unit on its upper surface. The sliding body, facing the main body(10), makes a sliding motion. The cradling unit(40) is connected with the sliding body. Rotating in the direction of going away from the lower surface of the main body(10), the cradling unit(40) supports the main body(10) and the sliding body. The sliding guide module, which binds the sliding body and the main body to each other, moves the sliding body on the main body. |
