<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image interpolation device for interpolating an interpolation image less incompatible throughout the image to an interpolation object area by use of one image, an image interpolation method, and an image interpolation program. <P>SOLUTION: A first deformation part 14 deforms an interpolation image using the Poisson equation under a boundary condition in which the square sum of a difference between a spatial primary differential value of each pixel value constituting the interpolation image after deformation and a spatial primary differential value of each pixel constituting the interpolation image before deformation is minimum, each pixel value forming the contour of the interpolation image after deformation is matched to each pixel value forming the contour of an interpolation object area, and the differential coefficient of each pixel value forming the contour of the interpolation image after deformation is matched to the differential coefficient of each pixel value forming the contour of the interpolation object area, and a second deformation part 17 deforms a peripheral image in the interpolation object area. The first deformation part 14 further deforms the deformed interpolation image using each pixel value forming the contour of the interpolation object area deformed according the deformation of the peripheral image of the interpolation object area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
