<p>The synthetic crepe for shoe soles has the formula:- SBR "Phillips 1206" - 7 kg. SBR "phillips 1205" - 3 kg. (or equivalent materials), with 1% stearic acid. 0.5% active ZnO, 1.8% Zn stearate, 20% silia "KS300" 1.2% P.E.G. 4,000, 1% antoxidant "Permanax 24", 0.35% sulphur "SU95" (Structol), 0.75% "Renocure S" (Rhein Chemie), 3% "Dicup 40C" 0.75% "Vulcafor D.H.C. with 25% powder of the same compsn. The calendered material is self vulcanising and does not need to be moulded. The material has similar properties to natural crepe at a cost of 20% less.</p> |
