<p>Eggs are placed between two identical trays placed face to face, and held together by a surrounding sleeve or transparent wrapping, such that the packed eggs can be seen. Each tray consists of a surface from which fall the four sides and in which are six circular locations, and pyramid shaped pillars on the longitudinal centre lines of the tray. When assembled the tops of these pillars form the meeting point of the upper and lower trays. Locating devices can be used on the top of the pillars to assist positioning of the trays. Two trays can be hinged together in the plane of the pillar tops.</p> |
