<p>Mechanical planter comprises a circular PVC film cutter which is heated by gas or electrical energy and which performs a reciprocating movement in synchronisation with the descending plane of a planting wheel. Synchronisation is obtd. by means of a drive pinion which is integral with the planting wheel axis and which drives, via a chain or a toothed belt, a pinion which transmits rotation to a cam which displaces the cutter; the cuttrer is returned by a spring. The shape of the cam provides min. contact time between the cutter and PVC film.</p> |
