<p>The vehicle safety seat for a child consists of a deformable table (3) placed on a rear seat in front of the child and held to the seat back by a safety belt (2). The table is made with an opening to the rear (4) for the child's body and two side pieces (5) which allow the legs to protrude. The rear of the platform is rounded (7). At the front of the table is a rounded cushion (9). The rounded part (7) and the cushion protect the child's stomach and throat respectively in the case of a collision. As a further refinement, another cushion (10a) may be mounted on the back of the front seat.</p> |
