<p>Rotating cam locking mechanism for concertina type folding-sliding doors operates at any desired door extension and constitutes a cam (32), on top of the hinge spindle (31) between the two leading slats, fitting in a box section rail, and rotating 90 deg. from free to locked stations, with the cam locking between lateral rail walls. The cam is typically oval in plan. The spindle (31) passes through a metal insert (30) through a plate (29) of a support (27) secured in the leading slat by screws (28). The cam may have semi circular section extensions on its sides which engage the rail walls.</p> |
