<p>The control device is for compressors with a fixed stroke and has a rotary member located in the supply and delivery port of the chamber. The rotary members are displaced angularly w.r.t. the stroke length to induce an increased chamber capacity. The control is used in motor vehicle accessory drive devices and cavitation is prevented and noise maintained at a low level. The rotary members may be formed by plates, discs or rings forming part of the members determining the cylinder chamber, or can be separate from the chamber. Preferably the rotary members are adjustable during operation of the compressors and during each stroke. The members require no, or only a small amount, of compensation.</p> |
