PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF PLASTICS DISPERSIONS

The wet adhesion of polymer dispersions and of paints produced therefrom is much improved when the dispersions are prepared using alpha , beta -unsaturated halogen compounds that are nucleophilically substitutable as comonomers and the resulting dispersions are subjected to an alkaline aftertreatment at temperatures of more than 50 DEG C. The alkali used is ammonia or urotropine.
