<p>1485353 Reforming catalysts RHONEPOULENC INDUSTRIES 15 Jan 1976 [17 Jan 1975] 01630/76 Heading BIE [Also in Division C5] Catalysts comprise a porous carrier and a catalatically active mettalic component comprising platinum palladium and silicon in amounts of 0.2-0.8 wt.% Pt, 0.1-0.8 wt.% Pd and 0.02-0.2 wt.% Si based on the weight of the catalyst. The silicon is stated to be in reduced form and the catalysts may also contain a halogen and/or a promoter such as manganese. In examples catalysts are made by impregnating active alumina, optionally with aq. MnCl 2 , with aq. PdCl 2 +HCl+SiO 2 sol followed by drying and calcination at 500‹C and finally with H 2 Pt Cl 6 followed by drying, calcination at 500‹C and reduction in H 2 at 500‹C.</p> |
