<p>The hot air generator consists of centrifugal compressor with e.g. three turbine stages with three bladed rotors (3, 4, 5) which convey fresh air past three stators (1a, 1b, 1c). Around the periphery of the blades are three diffusers (1d, e, f). Around the blades are collector channels (6, 7, 8) which communicate with a space (9, 10, 11) behind each rotor. This arrangement increases the temp. of the air passing through. For a further increase, the air passes through a chamber (12) with four equally spaced outlets communicating with a discharge chamber (13). Two outlets have sliding flaps, adjusted by screws outside the casing. Two other outlets have flow dividers, with a set of discs with holes through them having different alignments giving a super-heating effect. The holes are of different sizes.</p> |
