<p>30-250 wt. pts. of pulverised valve metal selected from tantalum, niobium or titanium is blended with 10-35 vol. pts. of adhesive for the pulverised valve metal, i.e. an aq. soln. contg. 0.2-1.5 wt. % of carboxymethyl-cellulose or sodium salt (or ammonium salt) of cellulose-glycollic acid and 15-30 vol. pts. of dispersion medium selected from alcohol or acetone and thereby a liq. suspension is prepd. A precursor body of the anode is dipped in the liq. suspension and D.C. current having a specified voltage and generating electric field is charged in the liq. suspension and the pulverised valve metal is sedimented on a surface of the body and the resulting body is calcined at 1,600-20,000 degrees C and thus bulky, porous anode is obtd.</p> |
