<p>The board game (1) tests the driving skill of a player and simulates a road network (2), complete with bends, junctions, etc. One or more departure (6) and arrival (7) points are provided, the car (3) being coupled magnetically to a magnet underneath the board. The car is remotely controlled by the player using a handle (4) and the time taken to complete a course is recorded. Simultaneously, penalties are levied (11) each time the car touches the sides of a road, these touches being sensed by a contact strip. The relationship between time taken and penalties recorded can be varied to display the relative performance (8).</p> |
