<p>1466759 Delivering sheets LINDACO Ltd 21 Aug 1974 [26 Sept 1973] 36771/74 Heading B8R Bundles formed by merging sheets from pockets 1, Fig. 1, by means of a friction pad 3 on an endless belt 4, Figs. 1 and 3A, are dropped on to an inclined table 6 adjustable in position according to sheet size, over which they pass by gravity and inertia to fall into a receptacle 10 inclined longitudinally and laterally and having stack abutment plates 12 on its two lower sides, and a pin 8 is projected upwards through a hole 7 in the table, by drive means 9 controlled by a microswitch 18, for every second bundle, which is thereby rotated through 90 degrees, so that a stack in the receptacle is formed of bundles alternately staggered through 90 degrees, the bundles being aligned by a jogger 11. The pin 8 may be caused to project through a slot in the table by radial movement, being supported by a rotary stop motor.</p> |
