The hose reel with central water inlet has a central hub (5) and carries side flanges (1) for the hose (21). The reel revolves on roller bearings (6) mounted on the outer edge of the hub. The reel carries a return spring (13) fitted around the hub and fixed at one end to the hub by a pin (12) and at the other by a locking plate (15). The water is admitted through a side connection (16) and radially through holes (4) on the outside of the hub. The locking bolt (5) fixes the hub relatively to the hose connector (2) in line with the radial holes (4).
