<p>The machine for cutting off protruding veneer edges from workpiece corners, has a grip unit with a continuous lengthways groove to hold the veneer edges, two guide faces for leading along the adjacent workpiece surfaces, and blade with cutting edge in the plane of these, protruding into the groove. The blade (6) is circular with a cylindrical shaft and a conically widened piece joined onto this in one piece, with open peripheral edge (30) forming the cutter. At least in the front area (10) of the grip unit (1) the groove (2) has a widened configuration, formed by an arched curvature of the walling (9) opposite to the blade. The blade may have an axial hole drilled through it.</p> |
