Mixed concrete comprises a mixt, reinforced with both passive and active reinforcements, the first absorbing the pay-load, the second absorbing the weight of the concrete itself - together with metallurgical scrap and a powerful anticorrosive agent. After having calculated the active and passive reinforcements a mixt. is made up of sand, gravel, cement and water together with 5-30 vol.% of metallurgical scrap (w.r.t. the concrete) and 5-10 wt.% (w.r.t. the cement) of anticorrosive agent. Into this mixt. are drawn a number of wires, sufficient to absorb the weigth of the concrete. Other stresses are absorbed by passive steel bars or stranded ropes. The mixt. permits effecting economies in the section of the metal, improves the elastic modulus and the reserve of rupture strength. The amt. of pretensioning required may be reduced.
