Therefore, at the same time when the optical system 1 starts its scanning in the direction of A to charge the photoreceptor 11 so as to form latent image and the system 1 reaches the left end, the transfer paper transport 7 comes up with this end so as to place the transfer paper on the photoreceptor 11. Subsequently, with the return of the transport 7 in the direction of B, the latent image on the photoreceptor 11 is transferred on the transfer paper, visualized and fixed. And the optical system 1 and the transport 7 return to the original positions at the same time.
