The appliance is esp. for upright bottles. It has a rotating transportation star, and a branch, pref. a rotating take-over star. The transportation star has a number of pivoted or displaceable levers or push rods, each projecting into one bottle space. The star also carries solenoids which when excited move each lever. The levers are spring-loaded, and have a locking lever on the ends facing the star. With a rotation of the star, the lever slides on a stationary support cam, and engages on a moving pin. The pin is moved by the solenoid, to free the lever.
