The corner connector is for profiled sections of rubber or elastic plastic, and partic. for motor vehicle window frames, having grooves on opposite sides fitting over the vehicle bodywork and the glass. To allow for tolerances in the straight sections of the frame there are oblong compressible chambers inside the profiled sections. At the corner (3) inside the groove (6) accommodating the glass (10) are one or more sealing ribs (9), protruding into the groove, and lying in the plane of the glass pane. The ribs can be of flat rectangular section, and there can be two or more parallel ones inside the groove. At the adjacent ends of the straight portions of the profiled sections the chambers (7) can be compressed or otherwise sealed, while the base (8b) of the groove towards the glass is offset outwards at the corner. |
