Solar heat collector - with motorised turning motion and manual slope adjustment

A solar heat collector houses the absorber in a rectangular box which is attached with one side to a drive box, containing a motor drive and two ball bearings so that the absorber element box can be turned to follow the path of the sun. At the end opposite to the absorber, the drive box is attached to a universal joint. At the unattached and, the absorber element box is attached to a telescopic stay so that is inclination can be manually adjusted from time to time to suit the seasonal variations of the solar path. The system is universally applicable and provides a simple adjustment.
