<p>The paper strip has perforated sections, at regular intervals. The sides of the strip have holes which are used to transport the strip through the arrangement. The strip is moved by a segmented wheel (1) with circumferential transport pins (4). Tension is exerted on the strip, to tear it, by means of levers (10) operated by a cam (12) and which push two segments of the wheel apart. Alternatively the strip can be torn by a wheel with protrusions which push against the outside of the paper.</p> |
