Vibrator assisted grain milling equipment - uses shaped milling body adjacent rollers to give constantly varying milling gap

The milling equipment has a concave milling body (2) supported against the upper roller (3) of a pair of milling rollers, the lower roller (5) being vibrated. The curvature of the inside face of the milling body is greater than the armature of the upper roller, so that the gap between them is wider at the top than at the bottom. The milling body is mounted on a horizontal spindle (1) at the bottom and is connected to a set of vibratory motors (10) at the top so that the vibrations cause the size of the gap to be continuously varied. When used for wheat and other delicate materials, the arrangement gives an improvement in the quality of the product. The size of the gap can be varied to suit the material to be ground.
