Plastics drain-pipe detachable clamp - includes metal holder with polygonal piece on pin gripped by punched section of transitional plate

A pin is driven into the wall. It bears a detachable clamp, across a metal retainer plate (8) and an intervening non-elastically bendable and twistable weakened zone (4). The metal retaining device for the clamp provides sliding guidance for a plastics drainpipe on a building wall. The driven pin (2) bears a flat surface (32) with a polygonal unit (34)mounted on it. The retainer plate is connected to a transitional plate (36) via the weakened zone, and in the latter plate a punched-out section (38) embraces the polygonal unit, which is monolithically connected to it by heading. The pin and polygonal unit may be square in cross-section. This eliminates wastage of material, and heavy wear on punching tools.
