Device for producing gravure printing formes on a plate

A device for producing gravure printing formes on a plate is described, in which there are provided a rotatably arranged receiving cylinder for the plate and a gravure system arranged so as to be movable relative to the receiving cylinder. Furthermore, a control device, acting in dependence on the circumferential position of the plate, is provided for radial lifting and lowering of the gravure system. Using the device, gravure printing formes can be produced on a plate according to the same method as the later impression cylinder. As a result, considerable differences in the print reproduction, occurring in different production processes of the plate and of the later impression cylinder, are avoided.
