<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution of a transparent type data input device for a computer and to eliminate the need for a program to be used between the device and a master keyboard mounted on the body of the computer by constituting the input device so as to be equivalent to the master keyboard and directly connecting the input device to the keyboard. CONSTITUTION:A CRT display device 3 is connected to the body 1 of a computer and a transparent type data input device 4 is arranged on the display surface of the device 3. The device 4 consists of a transparent type touch keyboard 31 and the 1st and 2nd interfaces 32, 33 connected between the keyboard 31 and a matrix type master keyboard 2 mounted on the body 1. The keyboard 31 is provided with row lines 43 and column lines 44 consisting of the 1st and 2nd transparent insulating sheets 41, 42 to form a matrixlike touch key part 46. The 1st switch group to be excited by a signal scanning a row line of the board 2 and the 2nd switch group of which switches are connected to respective column lines of the board 2 and selectively excited in accordance with the status of column lines 44 of the board 3 are mounted to these interfaces 32, 33, simplifying the constitution of the input device 4.</p> |
