To simplify the use of devices for changing physical or chemical quantities, a driver stage, which is controllable by an actuator buffer, for controlling a force amplifier and the device controlled by the force amplifier for influencing physical or chemical quantities are connected via an interface, which is provided with a programmable adapter buffer, to an external bus, the interface being directly associated with the driver stage and an internal bus being provided for the transmission of data between a number of information-processing elements.
