The invention relates to an arrangement for detecting and indicating the blocking function of a belt-winding device of a safety-belt arrangement in the event of a vehicle accident, there being a detent pawl which, when a predetermined vehicle acceleration value is exceeded, engages into a toothing connected fixedly to a winding drum of the winding device. According to the invention, there are to be provided means which detect and permanently indicate the engagement of the detent pawl (4) into the toothing (3) in the presence of an acceleration value indicating a vehicle accident. For example, there will be a switch which is assigned to the detent pawl and closes when the pawl engages into the toothing and which is designed in the form of fusible cut-out for activating an indicator device arranged in a first circuit (13), preferably behind a device (6) switched to transmission when an upper acceleration limit value is exceeded. <IMAGE>
