The invention relates to a food mixer which consists of a base part (1) and a container (2) which can be connected thereto and receives the food to be mixed. Mounted rotatably in the base part (1) is a shaft, on whose shaft end (4), projecting into the container (2), a mixing tool (11) is arranged. In order to be able to exchange the mixing tool easily, it has a hub body (10) which can be fitted onto the shaft end (4) and in whose fitting-on opening there are catch tongues (13) which can be engaged behind catch projections (9) provided on the shaft end (4). Furthermore, an axially displaceable unlatching knob (14) is arranged on the hub body (10). By means of the axial displacement of said unlatching knob, the catch tongues (10) can be pressed out of the catch position under a wedge effect. <IMAGE>
