The subject of the present invention is a hinge with two opening positions. The hinge comprises a stationary butt 10 mounted on the fixed frame 12 and comprising a first stationary pivot pin 16 and a stationary wing 22, a movable butt 24 mounted on the leaf 26 and comprising a second pivot pin 30 movable parallel to the first stationary pivot pin 16 and a movable wing 37, an intermediate piece 36, the ends 38, 40 of which are articulated on the first pivot pin 16 and on the second pivot pin 30, and a control link 52, a first end 54 of which is articulated on the movable wing 37 by means of a third pivot pin 58 and the second end 64 of which is capable, during a first phase, of pivoting about a rotary axle 66 connected to the stationary wing 22, until the first opening position is reached, and then, during a second phase, of being displaced in relation to the stationary wing 22, until the second opening position is reached. The invention is used for the articulation of doors of a motor vehicle which are arranged perpendicularly to the axis of the latter. <IMAGE>
