<p>An electrical battery system is used. It has a number of cylindrical open dry cells which are all fitted in on container. The cells are of the Leclanche type and the system has an increased emf for the same volume of its type. The container consists of two rigid plastics sections (130) which are joined in a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the dry cells (110, 120). The joints are produced by ultrasonic welding and the dry cells have common partition walls. They are interconnected inside the container to form a series circuit.</p> |
