The retractable multipurpose pole comprises a base casing (1), which is fastened in the ground, and a vertically extensible and retractable, telescopic tube element (2) which, in the retracted state, is accommodated fully within the casing (1). At its upper end, the telescopic element (2) bears a lighting body (17) and, in its interior, there are accommodated a variable-length power cable (27), for supplying power to the lighting body (17), and hydraulic control means (22) for displacing the telescopic element (2). <IMAGE> |
